Vector illustration is a popular technique of many digital illustrators worldwide. Vector graphics are ideal for simple or composite drawings. Vector art is great for original art and can be used with all printing formats, since the art is made from a series of mathematical curves it will print very crisply even when resized. For instance, one can print a vector design at business card size and then enlarge the same design to billboard size whilst keeping the same crisp quality and colour control. A low-resolution raster graphic (jpeg, tiff or similar) would blur or pixelate excessively if it were enlarged from business card size to billboard size.

graphic design – team and car graphics – SAGE Racing

I first prepared designs for SAGE Automation in 2001, their first year diving into V8 Ute racing.  I have designed the livery for the SAGE Racing Team every year since. Stay tuned for an update gallery of each design through the last ten years.  The livery shown developed for the start of the 2008 season has been carried through to date.
I am very proud to be associated with V8 Ute Racing and the SAGE Racing team.
2001 original design – built over a standard black ute, lots of sponsors, a very short time frame and set the scene for the next 7 years

illustration – team and promotional graphics – Australian Men’s Under 19 Lacrosse Team

I supported the 2008 Australian Mens Under 19 Lacrosse Team when they travelled to Coquitlam BC Canada – with graphic design and illustration, development of their team mascot, promotional newsletters, uniforms and supporters gear. It was great to see the strong flourish of green and gold in the stands when ever the team was playing – Aussie, Aussie, Aussie ….
