Kitchen and Home Re-Development

Our Clients were looking to open their home, remove walls but not loose the privacy that comes with a standard lounge, dine and kitchen layout We planned, spoke with the selected builder and made material selections. New ceilings throughout, the addition of floor to ceiling slide and stack glass doors assisted in the transformation. We brought the outside inside and gave the space light. The kitchen uses the new traceless laminate, so no finger prints on the satin black surface. Easy clean, easy work stainless steel work tops with integrated sink and drainer. A timber trim to add warmth and define the lines and separations of cupboard doors and drawers. Easy grip handles were of the upmost importance and a smooth glass splash-back.

What did our client have to say; “Highly professional and perceptive to our desires. Greg and Mel demonstrated a breadth of knowledge and found the right solutions to create our vision, one that was deemed impossible by others. Gthinkstudio understood the work and traffic flows we were trying to achieve and provided overall harmony in the elements we wanted to bring together. Proposed budgets for work were spot on and deadlines met as planned. Their work quality is excellent. We are extremely happy with the end result.” Dennis and Ann.

furniture – cellar door counter – Wirra Wirra Winery

Daring to be different, having a style and culture all of its own and ageing well were the criteria met in the creation of the Cellar Door furniture. The three dimensional facade of new and recycled hardwood combined with bronze coating and effective lighting represent the merging of design skills and celebrates the Wirra Wirra ethos. Behind the counter, sinks, wine and glass storage, as well as point of sale have all been considered for ease of use and practical effect.
Design Institute of Australia  – Commendation – high standards have been achieved, a recognition of professional design procedure and outcome.  SA Awards Program – 2004
“Wirra Wirra is a place that has inspired the most lateral of thinkers. The winery itself is a testament to some quirky ideas and inspired traditions, all of which have come from the freedom to explore possibilities. Serious fun is at the heart of all that has resulted.”   www.wirrawirra.com
